Sometimes we as Christians worship God for what He can do for us, and not for who He is. God is not here to serve, or worship us. We are here on earth to bring Him glory and praise.
Do we weigh God against this things of this world? Would the world give us more than God can? No! It is not a competition and stop playing around with your life! Repent and turn to God. Our time here on earth here is short people and we don’t want to waist it. The gifts God He gives us is eternal, not like the worldly things that only lasts a little while.
There is a reason why Jesus said that the Samaritan woman “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again”. What God gives us is not something that will disappear after a while.
Now I’m not saying we must worship Him for what He can do for us. We must worship Him for who He is. He is a good good Father.
Come on people! Let us stand in unity and worship the Rock of our salvation.
