Idolatry

While Moses was on top of the mountain the people at the foot of the mountain said to Aron they want something to worship and so it all came down to Aron leading them into making a golden calf and even calling it Yahweh, the one who brought them out of Egypt.

In our life we easily create an idol in our lives without even noticing. Then after a while God starts to convict you in your heart and you realize that there is something that you are placing first in you life and it is not Him. Getting rid of that idol you feel free and God is number one in our life again. God is a jealous God and wants you to focus on Him, not other idols. His word says that we must focus on the things above (Him) and not on the earthly things.

Imagine God comes and you’ve been deliberating worshiping idols, what will happen? We can’t worship two masters in our lives, because the one will be more esteemed than the other.

Choose, life or death? God or the devil? Eternity in heaven or hell?
