Looking out for your neighbour

In Luke 10 a teacher of the law asks Jesus how does one inherit eternal life. Jesus tells him the story of the good Samaritan. At the end Jesus asks Him who does he think is the Samaritan’s neighbor and the teacher of the answers correctly. Jesus then tells him to do likewise.

This above summary is an indication (if you read Luke 10) of how we must love our neighbor. Sometimes we find our selves in crucial times where we can love our neighbor, doesn’t matter what. A good example is a beggar on the street. Many people shriek when they walk past that person, but God loves that person as much as He loves you.

We need to help one another, look out for each other and take care of the people around us. Being humble and taking care of other is crucial in our daily lives.

Let us be a light to the world.
