Have you ever experienced when talking to someone about something that bothers you and they give you a default answer? Like an answer they give to each person in a sort of same situation. We need to listen to one another and not make up default answers to give to that person, because every situation is different. Don’t try and formulate an answer while the other person is talking to you. Listen and when the person is done talking you think of what to reply with, because the moment we start to formulate an answer, we are not paying attention to what that person is saying.

Let the Holy Spirit lead you in answering the person after they spoke.
