Psalm 23:2 “He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,”
Read the poem and then meditate on the Word of God. Just try and imagine this verse. Being laid down in green pastures, beside a still stream of water running peacefully. In that moment just see how God’s presence surrounds you and how you can just experience His peace that surpasses all understanding. Keep that peace. Then imagine how God takes from the stream of water and gives it to you. You drink of it and become all joyful. He tells you that it is His living water that He gave you and that you will never first ever again, but He warns you to stay in that place of contentment where you experience His presence and are overflowing of His glory, because the devil is crawling around seeking to kill, steal and destroy.
But God has come to give you life and life in abundance. So keep that joy. Don’t let anything steal it. Inspire people around you with that joy and don’t let the negativity of this world influence you to be saddened, but rejoice in the truth of God. Be still before His feet and know His is God. Be still and let yourself be filled with His presence once again. He is your source, the One who gives you life every morning. Keep the joy and pass it on to His children. Be a light and let it shine.
