Psalm 23:3 “He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.”
We sometimes walk around with this defeated mindset, not realizing who is our God. Trying to face things on our own, but we keep on failing, because it is out of our own strength. Loosing loved one’s, being angry at God, because why can He do such thing? But how often are we thankful. How often to we thank the Creator for the things that He has blessed us with? Why are we so trapped in this consumer culture where everything must be the best and the only way to survive is by your own and if you have money. This individual culture isn’t going to bring us in heaven, Christ is. Our lifestyle must change. We must start caring for one another, start praying for one another. It saddens my heart to live in a neighborhood where I barely know my neighbors. Why!? Because we focus on surviving on our own and not living together in the body of Christ where we are supposed to have and be a community!!! A community where we encourage each other in our faith. Sharing testimonies and celebrating what God has been doing in our lives.
Pray to God the prayer in Matthew 6 and ask Him what He is expected of you in the community where you are at. How can you serve the people in your community with the love of God. Pray for boldness and courage for the things you need to do. Pray against the fear of man and be ready to step out of your comfort zone and to live a Christlike lifestyle where you are being formed into the person God wants you to become. Pray for a renewed mind, refreshed soul and an upright heart wanting to do the will of the Father and not your own. Ask that God will guide you in every single step you take and ask Him to make you aware of His presence and not your phone or anything else. Remember John 10:10 and walk with that promise. The moment you start to walk in the footsteps of God, the devil will shriek, but will try his best to deceive you. The moment the devil sees you walking in the steps that the Father has planed for you, he becomes scared and will try to bring you down to ground zero. But with God on your side you will conquer every battle. For Christ has won the battle of death and nothing has a grip on you. Just keep faith , obedience and love. Live with an expected heart to be used by the Father.
