Rejoicing in the truth

“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth”
God is love and He is in us. We ought then not to delight in the evil things of this world. His Word causes us to rejoice in the truth that He has spoken over us.

Many times it has happend that we get so caught up by the stress that is caused by the things that we still need to do, that we forget about the promises (truth) that God has spoken over our lives. Sometimes we get caught up in entertaining a lie from Satan and then we end up believing that lie or actually bouncing back with the promises of God.

Philippians 4:4 says that we must rejoice. In all things we must rejoice. When the trail or tribulation comes we must rejoice, because we are being formed into the image of Christ. How glorious and epic is that?!

That is why it is of such importance that we clothe ourselves with the armor of God, because part of the armor of God is the belt of truth that we put on.

Therefore go out and believe the words that God speaks over you. It is through the Bible and through prophecy and many other ways that God speaks to us. God won’t lie to you or break you down, He only wants what is best for you. Then people ask “but why is God allowing this?”. The answer to that question is simple. “He let all things work for the good of those who love Him and who have been called according to His purpose”. Whatever the enemy means for evil He will use for our good.

Therefore all we need to do is walk in obedience and follow His ways.

You are no longer bound by chains! The truth has set you FREE!
