Your mouth can cause a lot of destruction if you don’t watch what you say. Psalm 141:3 says “Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips.” If we look at the life of Jesus. He only did what He see the Father do. How many times do we do what the Father does or do we continue in our own wickedness. If partake of this world and become more like it, then we’ll speak like the world and therefor sow destruction. If we meditate on the word of God, day and night as the book of Joshua says, then we’ll speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. Scripture also say that we must encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,”. But we can only do that if we are in tune with the Spirit of God. We’re called to speak life and the only way of doing that is hearing what the Father wants us to say.
Things would start to change if we start speaking life.
From where do you depart from?
We must depart from our knees. We are called to be God’s faithful prayer warriors. When the Bible says we must pray without ceasing, it means that we must pray at all times. Our point of departure must be from our knees. We must pray according to the will of the Father. We have the authority to unleash the power of God here on earth.
The moment we start praying constantly, it is then when we become active in the Spirit and sensitive to what is to come. Then we’ll get a direct download from heaven telling us what is going to happen and what we need to pray for.
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
If we all start praying as a church, then this nation will be changed.
Many prophets will stand up in my name and say “I am He” or “I am Christ”. Do not be deceived by their cunning words. Let no man or woman deceive you into thinking that they are “Christ”. Only God knows when He will come to fetch His children and take them home. Do not be afraid, but be strong and courageous. Walk in faith and obedience, and tell people of the gospel of truth.
This afternoon I had some time left before I started studying again. I thought of worshiping on the guitar. It was what I thought the right thing is to do, but not in God’s eyes. He had other plans. So I started to worship, but during worship the left part of my nose started to itch. It didn’t stop and I tried to continue in worship but the itching just continued. After a while I decided to stop and just be still before God. The moment I was still the itching stopped. Then God showed me something that I must pray for. That was just remarkable!
Sometimes we think that we are doing the right thing, but it is at the wrong time. We need to be like Mary and sit before the feet of Jesus, because we get so caught up in the things of God that we miss God himself.
Be still and know. Wait upon Him.
The atmosphere is changing, because the Holy Spirit is here
The evidence is all is all around
Overflow in this place
Fill our hearts with Your love
It is Your love that draws us near to You
Make us more aware of Your presence
Help us to focus on the cross of Christ
So Spirit come fall afresh on us
And let Your kingdom come and Your will be done
@Here as in heaven
@With some added words
When we talk around the Word of God, there is no room for the dark. There is no room for doubt. The moment we speak around the word of God, we are blessed. When His words come out of our mouthes, it encourages people. Let us continue to speak around the Word of God and make His name known.
Be ready to preach the word of God in and out of season. Don’t wait until morning, but be ready there and then. Be ready to preach in in the moment. It also calls us to be sensitive to the Spirit. The most important thing before preaching the Word of God is reading it. We need to be faithful stewards of the Word and therefor meditate on it day and night.
Give people a taste of the bread of life. Don’t withhold from them the gift of eternity. You can be the last one that they may encounter before they die. Sjoh! That is a burner, but don’t let it become a burden. Let the Spirit lead you in what you do.
God wants to use you!
