“Fools have the wrong tools”
Quite a radical statement, but true at the same time. If you don’t have the right tools in life, as a Christian, you struggle to get through life. The moment you get to a church, slot in and make sure that you get yourself equipped. If you get equipped, it will help you to approach believers and non believers when sharing the word. Sometime we need some guidance in how to make disciples or how to evangelize.
For long I didn’t make use of my church’s equipping tools, because I was always to busy. Now recently I started to go through some stuff and I really have felt enriched by it.
Don’t avoid what is given to you to grow in God. Pursue it and get equipped
Are we more concerned about what to wear to church or do we rather look to prepare our heart for receiving the word of God? Do we fall into that trap of spending more money on ourselves than investing it in the kingdom of God? Are we being good stewards of time here on earth? or are we using it to satisfy our own needs?
God’s image needs to be displayed towards the world, not the materialistic things. For what ever you do, in word or deed, let it be done in the name of the Lord, but don’t you dare use that phrase to justify your actions.
Time for playing is over! We need to lay aside our will and let God’s will be done. We are to aware of ourselves that we miss what God has planned for us.
Wake up church! The time has come that we spend more time in the word of God than anywhere else. For those who are friends of this world can’t be friends of God.
We need to start to get serious about the Lord
How would church be if we prepare our hearts before we go? We won’t be slow if we go and spend with the Lord. Our heart will be ready and won’t be heavy. We’ll receive openly the Word of God, church would be different. Sometimes we go for the wrong reasons. To see people, clear our consiousness or repent. But He won’t relent. He is a loving Father, but we must not step into a place of familiarity with God. He is not our “buddy”. He is a Father that wants His children to focus on Him. So if we prepare our hearts before we go, the ground of our hearts will be ready. We’ll be sensitive to what God wants to say to us. We will worship on the revelation of God’s word and that will ignite our hearts. Worship won’t be the same.
The young believer who inspired the people to read the Bible, started to disciple those people. He made sure they slotted into a church with a good support structure and can help them learn more about themselves and Christ. A few weeks of discipleship the new believers came to the person who lead them to Christ and told him of all the trials and tribulations they were experiencing. He encourage them with the wisdom God gave him. There words of encouragement was : ” The fact that you’re experiencing all this trouble times is because of the work God is busy doing in your life. For every tribulation you face, God uses you to make you in the person He wants you to be. God also states in His word that he won’t bring things along your path you can’t handle.”
Therefor go and thank God for what He is doing in your life and testify of His goodness in your life. He loves you and won’t stop loving you
No one is complete perfect except the One we serve. There is no such thing as a perfect church. There is such thing as a perfect god and that is the One Creator which made heaven and earth. We don’t necessarily need to walk around and find fault in everything. There is enough negativity from the world. It is just important to be aware that there is also weaknesses in lets say a church or even a person, but there is also a lot of good things and we mustn’t overlook those. Therefor be on your toes and when you think something is wrong then you need to report to a senior leader or someone you know well that can help you.
