Your mouth can cause a lot of destruction if you don’t watch what you say. Psalm 141:3 says “Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips.” If we look at the life of Jesus. He only did what He see the Father do. How many times do we do what the Father does or do we continue in our own wickedness. If partake of this world and become more like it, then we’ll speak like the world and therefor sow destruction. If we meditate on the word of God, day and night as the book of Joshua says, then we’ll speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. Scripture also say that we must encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,”. But we can only do that if we are in tune with the Spirit of God. We’re called to speak life and the only way of doing that is hearing what the Father wants us to say.
Things would start to change if we start speaking life.
From where do you depart from?
We must depart from our knees. We are called to be God’s faithful prayer warriors. When the Bible says we must pray without ceasing, it means that we must pray at all times. Our point of departure must be from our knees. We must pray according to the will of the Father. We have the authority to unleash the power of God here on earth.
The moment we start praying constantly, it is then when we become active in the Spirit and sensitive to what is to come. Then we’ll get a direct download from heaven telling us what is going to happen and what we need to pray for.
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
If we all start praying as a church, then this nation will be changed.
Be ready to preach the word of God in and out of season. Don’t wait until morning, but be ready there and then. Be ready to preach in in the moment. It also calls us to be sensitive to the Spirit. The most important thing before preaching the Word of God is reading it. We need to be faithful stewards of the Word and therefor meditate on it day and night.
Give people a taste of the bread of life. Don’t withhold from them the gift of eternity. You can be the last one that they may encounter before they die. Sjoh! That is a burner, but don’t let it become a burden. Let the Spirit lead you in what you do.
God wants to use you!
